It started with a conversation—and a reason to help.
GreenRoom began with a conversation between our founders after someone close to one of them was seriously affected following mold exposure. The experience brought home how unsettling a mold concern can be—and how much it matters to have someone help you understand what comes next.
That conversation became a shared purpose: help people facing mold and property damage concerns with clear information, practical support and care for the spaces they depend on.
The “green” in GreenRoom reflects our commitment to thoughtful product choices in mold remediation. We prioritize botanical and low-VOC options suited to the materials and conditions of each project, alongside thorough removal, cleaning, and professional application.
From our Brooklyn base, we have built relationships with local businesses and property management companies across the communities we serve. Those relationships have been part of our growth, year after year. Whether we are speaking with a homeowner for the first time or working with a familiar building team, our approach starts the same way: listen, explain the scope and keep people informed.

Provide photos, readings where relevant, scopes and invoices for the owner, building or insurer’s review.
From the first call to what comes next.
Our services include assessment, remediation, drying, cleaning and fire recovery. On regulated New York mold projects, assessment and remediation are performed by eligible independent providers.
Build-back work can be proposed separately after the cleanup and required assessment. We explain the repairs included before that phase starts.
